The Quarrymen is a work inspired after Norman's visit to a quarry

At the time when this work was painted, Norman was firing pottery in the kilns at the Ferny Hill Brickworks in Bromsgrove Road then owned by the Hughes family

The painting is the only known finished work in the cubism style by Norman Neasom
