Sindlar, Zdenek

Zdenek Sindlar was born in 1939 and now lives in Prague, working as a freelance artist in graphic arts and architecture, Zdenek studied at the Czech Technical University at Prague for six years, then in the Prague Academy of Beautiful Arts

In 1964, after qualifying as an architect and was admitted to the Union of the Czech Creative Artists. In the late sixties, he worked in the Architect’s department of the Greater London Council for four years, exhibiting his graphic art several times in England

When he took part in an art exhibition in London County Hall. The review of this exhibition concerning his works was: "Sindlar seems to be the most talented artist in this exhibition. He should illustrate a book on the Thames, preferably with original lithographs. He is a born graphic artist”

Sindler’s works are included in the collections of the British Museum, the Cultural Centre of USA in Prague and Francois Mitterand
